John Royan

    Producer/writer John Royan, owner of JR Productions, has been active in the entertainment industry since winning the 2012 Austin Film Festival screenplay contest with Clouds of Sorrow, a drama set in Darfur. Over the years, several  of John's scripts have been packaged or optioned by top production companies, including Kopelson Entertainment (Platoon, Seven, The Fugitive) and Walden Media, makers of the Narnia films.  John is currently in development on The Nagual, a horror project slated for release in the spring of  2026.
